13-pole 12V socket with microswitch, plastic JAEGER

Quality branded Erich Jäger 13-pin socket for towing vehicles. The socket is equipped with a microswitch, which switches after plugging the plug into the socket - switches on the disconnected contacts and disconnects the connected contacts of the microswitch. The switch can be connected to various functions of the towing vehicle (e.g. trailer connection indication, fog lamp disconnection, etc.)

• High-quality branded drawers differ from so-called noname products mainly by higher precision of plastic mouldings and processing of other components. This makes them easier to assemble and use, as there is no need to exert excessive force or wobble during insertion.
• Easy connection of wires under the screws without special tools. When wiring, it is recommended that the conductor be strengthened by threading a cable termination sleeve (not included).
• The plug is designed for 12V installations. Even though this socket is also used extensively in the Czech Republic for 24V, this is not recommended in order to avoid the possibility of connecting a trailer behind a car with an unsuitable voltage.
