Trailer towbar lock, compatible with AL-KO AK7, KNOTT, WINTERHOFF
Towbar lock from the brand WINTERHOFF.
- the lock prevents the pulling clutch from being opened by the operating handle
- the towing clutch must be closed (on the ball, on empty)
- inserts into the space in the operating handle of the ball coupling
- Simple insertion lock for ball couplings
- The lock is inserted into the hole in the operating handle of the ball coupling. In order for the lock to be inserted and locked in the hole, the pulling clutch must be closed either on the ball or empty. The lock prevents the pulling clutch from being opened by the operating handle.
- For greater safety and comfort when locking an unhitched trailer, we recommend using the AL-KO Safety Ball or KNOTT safety insert, which is inserted into the towing hitch instead of the car's towing device ball. This makes it easier to close the towing clutch before locking and prevents a locked towing clutch from being fitted to a specially modified towing device (with a significantly reduced or otherwise modified ball).
- The lock can also be used on the trailer while the vehicle is in motion.
