Overrun brake damper KNOTT KF 30 Ausf. C (for a maximum permissible trailer weight of 3000 kg). Length of the shock absorber 670 mm (centre of the eye - thread conez M10). The double-acting gas-liquid shock absorber is housed in the drag tube of the ramp brake. Ensures a smooth build-up of braking force and smooth trailer braking. A worn or damaged shock absorber causes the trailer to jolt when braking or starting.
