Overrun brake damper AL-KO 90S/3 (90S/1, 90S/2) and 101VB

The double-acting gas-liquid overrun brake damper AL-KO 90S/3 ensures smooth operation of the brake system during braking and releasing. A worn or otherwise damaged shock absorber will cause sudden jolts when braking or unbraking the trailer. The shock absorber is located inside the overrun brake pull tube and it is recommended that its replacement be entrusted to a trained AL-KO service. Along with the replacement of the shock absorber, it is absolutely necessary to check the clearance of the towing tube of the trailer brake in the bushes, to check/replace the stop ring located in front of the towing tube and, in particular, to check and adjust the trailer wheel brake units and their connection to the trailer brake. Failure to do the above can significantly reduce the life of the newly fitted muffler or lead to very rapid damage to the muffler and exclude it from the warranty.

The ETI number can be found on the ramp brake in the form of an embossed or grey-silver label. The ETI number is marked with either the letters ETI or the French key symbol. The ETI number distinguishes individual modifications of the overrun brake (or other product AL-KO).
