Support wheel anti-extension device, WINTERHOFF
The fuse consists of a spring and a cover plate. Installation is done by simply fitting it onto the support wheel bracket without tools. The spring is hinged on the handle of the holder and is held in a vertical position by a pressure plate. The lower end of the spring is bent upwards. If the backrest wheel slides out spontaneously during driving, e.g. due to insufficient tightening of the upper handle or excessive vibrations.

If the support roller extends spontaneously during driving, e.g. due to insufficient tightening of the upper handle or excessive vibrations, the support roller tube is caught by the lower spring hook after a few centimetres of extension.
