- The reduction converts all the functions brought out in the car's seven-pole socket - left and right turn signals, left and right tail lights, brake lights, fog lights and carcass.
- If a trailer with a thirteen-pole plug (fork) is equipped with a reversing socket, it cannot be lit via the reducer because in the standard regulation wiring there is no longer a free contact for the reversing socket in the seven-pole socket design on the car. Similarly, the reducer does not transfer other functions that may be involved on a trailer with a thirteen-pin plug (permanent power to appliances, battery charging, etc.)
