In case of positioning the combined lamp further away from the registration plate, it is preferable to choose a variant of the lamp without the registration plate illumination and to solve the illumination with separate single-purpose lamps for the registration plate illumination (you can also find in our offer) placed directly at the plate.

WARNING: Some older cars equipped with trailer lighting control cannot correctly detect only incandescent trailer lighting due to outdated on-board system electronics, and modern LED lights with significantly lower power consumption will evaluate the low current draw as an error. If such an outdated on-board system cannot be updated to work with LED lights, a so-called control box connected between the car and the trailer can be used. The control box simulates incandescent lamps for the outdated on-board system of the towing vehicle and thus ensures the correct functionality of the connected LED lamps. On the other hand, very old cars that are not equipped with any trailer lighting control system and, of course, current cars with factory towbars have no problem with LED lights.
