The winch handle is mounted on the hexagon shaft and secured with Allen screws, once the screws are loosened the handle can be easily removed. The rope can be unwound with a smooth pull without using the crank. During winding, the manual winch spool is secured by an automatic anti-reverse latch. If the crank is turned in the opposite direction of winding, the rope can be lowered or moved, the latch is automatically released without the need for manual release. When changing the winding direction again, the latch automatically engages and locks the spool to prevent the rope from unwinding. The rope is only pulled out when the crank is turning. In the situation when the brake is released and the crank starts to move against the direction of winding and removing the crank, the rope can be pulled smoothly to the required length.
