Brake cable KNOTT 1200/1500 mm, M8 thread for older axle designs KNOTT, BPW and Peitz.
- Cable harness for older axle designs KNOTT, BPW and Peitz
- Original brake cable KNOTT with Teflon sliding insert and grease plugs for perfectly smooth operation with minimal resistance.
- Suitable for wheel brake units KNOTT 20-963/1 (200x30), 20-964/1 (200x50), 20-965/1 (200x30), 20-966/1 (200x50), 20.32-1647 (203.2x40), 25-2025 (250x40), 25-2026 (250x40).
- Can also be used for BPW/Peitz R234-76 wheel brake units.
- The rope termination with M8 thread on the side for fitting into the rope hoists allows the rope to be used also for the more awful types of rope hoists without a cross-section for quick-fit ropes. The thread also allows precise adjustment of the rocker arms in cases where only one rope is changed and the old ropes have a slightly different length.
- The ropeway can also be used in combination with the new ropes with side cross-sections for quick-release ropes.
- For securing the rope in the rocker, it is necessary to use a ball nut M8 Order No. 15021 secured with a self-locking counter nut M8 Order No. 150023. Nuts are not part of the rope, they are ordered separately.
- On the side of the wheel unit, the rope is terminated with a pressed eye for direct insertion by the spreader lever in the wheel unit.
- ATTENTION: This cable design is only compatible with very old KNOTT and BPW/Peitz axles. Current axles use a bellows ending in a sleeve and a cable with a plug, on which the cable-strut coupling is threaded.
