Thanks to two hooks on the bottom and a quick-release swivel spring lock, the wedge can be easily adjusted to different positions in the VAPP punching both front to back and sideways.
The wedge is always hooked into the perforation in such a way that the edge with the welded hooks is closer to the wheel and the edge with the inserted swivel lock is always further away from the wheel. As long as the wheel is tight to the trapeze of the properly hooked wedge, the wedge will not fall out even if the operator forgets to secure the pivoting spring lock.
The surface treatment of the wedge by hot-dip galvanizing ensures long-term protection against corrosion.
The wedge lock mechanism is galvanized.
